Hallo Zusammen

Hey redditors, looking for advice to diversify
I've been dipping into the crypto market and doing pretty well, however I'm looking for new ways to diversify and have more of a long haul investment. I've been loking at putting 1,000 into cardone capital, vinovest, whiskey wealth club, REITS, and other things. But I'm new to all of this.
Just wondering of anyone Has any advice on the best ways to invest 500-1k at a time? Or even so just routes that has worked for them? Thanks!

2022.01.27 12:46 shamystrawberry Why women have authority over men, because if they don't they will be crippled. God knows this.

Although paul says "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." Most people (at least in the USA) know this does not reflect reality today.
Someone once told me that it was a prophesied curse that women would rule over men. That maybe true, but why?
The problem is many Christian men are sinful that's probably why God is allowing women to lead and be independent because Christian men are not leading women in the right way. So yes this may be a curse, however, because of sin and the lack of a Christian attitude to take care of women( wives and daughters). This curse is just a result of a sin. Therefore should we cripple are daughters by telling them they can't lead or raise them up so they can be strong to rely on themselves. We can can't change society only the way we deal with things.
This is not to say women are not sinful too, but when a righteous woman marrys a sinful Christain man, I bet you can guess who will suffer more. Why did they marry a sinful Christian man? For many women they didn't know their husband true personality until they married. Christian man and Christian women also change over time and sometime backslide. The problem is the man is the leader so he causes his whole family to suffer. Look what happened to David's and Achan's family.
And I believe many men are even more disobedient now. That not to say women aren't but God gave the men the authority to direct their families.
So that's the sinful reason.
But there is also a cultural reason why women lead now too and don't want to submit to men (fathers/husbands)
Deborah was a judge so she was given authority to judge men and women. There probably wasn't alot of women like her probably because in the time period she lived, most women had loads of house work and alot more children than today. Deborah was probably wealthy and probably had servants to do her work and watch her children.
Many women are becoming like Deborah.
In our time women don't have as much house work and send their children to childcare because they need or want to provide for their household too. The reason why is many women were meant to have productive and passonate work too but we don't make our own clothes, nor make our own food from scratch like bake a delicious cake( many women just buy cakes), and nor do we teach our young and older children (they are sent to childcare or school).
Now because the average woman only have 1 to 2 kids (at least in the USA) they don't have a lot of chores to do especially when their children go to school. So they get bored and feel purposeless so that's another reason women pursue careers. Also women don't have as many children because of finances, and they have children later usually because they go to college and further their career. Girls in bibical times were getting married and having babies at 12.5. The husband's were probably in their late teens or twenties because they had to learn to provide and stable themselves before they started a family. Women now provide and stable themselves before a husband comes along. They may never get married.
I think that is what is happening - most women are becoming Deborahs, because they literally have too. Their fathers don't have money to support their adult life, and they don't want to stay at home so they either leave home and/or go to school or find a job. Then they learn to support themselves so it's hard to be under authority once they are so use to being independent. They know how to work, but don't know how to care of an infant because their mothers didn't show them how to.
It's true a woman doesn't know how it feels to be a man, however, a woman has learned to take the husband's role and a wife's role. Men sometimes have to do both too, but we know it is more common with women. A study shows that women not only work but also still mainly take on the responsibility of caring for the children and housework. However, the many men don't help with these areas as much as the women help with providing. And while doing all this women have periods which can be painful, and they are not menstruating, they are pregnant.
In the past, before 1900s, Women and men use to share work especially on farms. Men just did the harder and heavier work, although the women's work was just as busy: feeding the animals, cooking, washing clothes, and pitching water not to mention their mother roles. Also, Women and men would also take care of the children. The boys would learn from their dads after probably 5 and girls would help their mom. But of course the men were in charge and led the family although women had influence too.
I believe the man should be the head because that is how God ordered it, but I also believe women have a more prominent roles in society (such as judge, politicians, and spiritual leaders) because many women are independent of men now and are not always under leadership of a man like in history.
I haven't even touch on single mothers and divorced mothers.
I rather have my daughters learn to be independent and lead themselves than depend on a disobedient Christian man that will treat them badly. Now that's not to say their aren't good Christian men(But there are few because they are still learning like my husband), but my daughters need to be prepared to take care of themselves just in case they don't find a good Christian man.
They also need spiritual leading women to follow. Maybe its culture's and sin's fault. But whatever it is the women are the ones that are crippled and suppressed if they don't lead or have female leader who are revelant to their situation. Tell a woman what they can do not what they can't.
Women can write articles, write books, preach on youtube. And if they want to preach publicly then it's up to a man if they want to be in that crowd or not, because we know one thing for sure women can teach women. If a man wants to join, why is that a woman's fault?
I once went to a Christian women's conference and men were in the audience. They chose to be there. My husband was actually touched by a pastor wife preaching more that the preacher.
Lastly, it is all up to the individual person and married couple what they want to do. Whatever they do they should respect and submit to each other: live traditional house wives and bread winning husband lives, or both spouses working, and etc.
The reason I wrote this post is because some men think women should just give up their jobs and be submissive when that is not possible for many women. It can also be crippling, demeaning, and oppressive.
I know this from experience. And God knows this as well that why God puts it in women's hearts and give women the skills to lead.

2022.01.27 12:46 MidnightSociety86 Books for someone who is trying to foster self-trust and self-knowledge

Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a great day. My mother, in her late 60s, is going through a hard time right now. She is separated from my father (who was very abusive for most of their marriage until his health declined) and trying to decide what she wants for her life. She is in therapy so that's great, but she told me her biggest struggle is that she's afraid to make any decision because her self-trust is virtually non-existent. Because of the generation she came from, her parents were super well-meaning but they kind of made all the decisions for her (take this job, don't move there, make this decision, etc.).
It's really sad for me that this incredible person, who has so many wonderful traits, can't see them in herself! And it's so hard for her that she's stuck in this sort of limbo of her life because she can't trust her decisions. I would love to know if anyone has any book suggestions for her. One I already ordered her is Fierce Self-Compassion by Dr. Kristin Neff. Thanks in advance!
